Case Studies

Multiple cigarette burns  to an infant. Often confused by non-clinical personnel as a disease process  (e.g. impetigo or chicken pox).

 

Multiple injuries from   a single, open-handed slap to the face. Note laceration of upper lip, torn labial frenum, bruising in the maxillary vestibule, and subluxation of the central incisor.
